Bio: Moderat’s formation began back in 2002 when Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) and Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary (aka Modeselektor) recorded an EP for the record ... label BPitch Control ("Auf Kosten der Gesundheit“). When it came time to begin working on an album, Moderat suddenly broke up. Meanwhile Modeselektor set a milestone in German music history with their sophomore album, "Happy Birthday!", including musicians such as Puppetmastaz, Maximo Park and Thom Yorke. Amongst a slew of remixes for the likes of Thom Yorke and Björk, Modeslektor also went on to tour with Radiohead across Japan in 2008. Apparat, on the other hand, moved forward with his album "Walls" in 2007 (after his collaboration with Ellen Allien on "Orchestra of Bubbles"), taking a musical path that was more band-oriented and kept him on tour for several years running.2008 saw the reunion of this project and the three members of Moderat went back to the studio to continue working together. Moderat’s self-titled album (release on April 20th, 2009 on BPitch Control) features Californian rapper Busdriver, the Berlin vocalist Dellé (aka Eased) from leading German act Seeed as well as Paul St. Hilaire. Modeselektor | THE WHITE FLASH (TRENTEMØLLER RMX)
Modeselektor is an electronic music band formed in Berlin, featuring Gernot Bronsert and Sebastian Szary. The group draws heavily from IDM, glitch, electro and hip hop. In an interview the group said regarding their sound: "Happy metal, hard rap, country-ambient, Russian crunk. We don’t like it if people tag us as being a certain style or school or scene or whatever. We don’t really care about all that."

Baxter Beez has travelled thru space and visited many galaxies in search of the best natural neurotoxins available, looking for the perfect beat he was made to run to avoid Jabba's Jihad Bounty Hunters after the loss of a whole cargo of Centaurus Sativa weed. After lightyears in deep space, young Baxter Beez wrecks his "Transgalactica" shuttle on our blue Earth, nearby a small rural french village subtly called Boulbon. Rescued and sheltered by young hip hop producer MOPSE, Baxter then discovers what humans call Dance Music and decides right away to ram the charts with his own take on music. Thanks to his natural talents and skills, Baxter's success is immediate. He releases his first 12" inch on Maxi Frite rec in 07 on which on top of "Confiance" (produced with all girl possee "Blondes Platines") one could find "Bring Me To The 8" remixed by Pirate Robot Midget which has been canned by Djs and bloggers all over the known universe. Between shady collabs and productions of fidgetting remixes, BBz is now working on his next vinyl instalment and even initiating new and exciting projects with the likes of Don Nola, StraAatch from StereoHeroes or the mighty Disco Villains ...
